The step-in shower in the front bath was helpful for my aunt, also. I was somewhat hesitant to rent this condo because of 1) the cancelation policy, 2) the deposit not being applied to the final payment, and 3) paying by electronic check instead of my preferred method, by credit card. Cc was an option, but increased the cost. I took the chance because of the excellent reviews on Ta and the need for this particular set up for traveling with my aunt. If you have any of these concerns, don't worry. Sandy is very easy to work with. I think if we had needed to cancel, her excellent condo would have been rented by someone else on short notice. Sorry the recliners mechanism wasn't always smooth. We decided to replace the recliners now because we actually had new ones bought. We tried to coordinate delivery during our May and June vacations so we could take new photos for our ads but neither time worked out. We decided to go ahead and have them delivered at the end of July even though we were not there. Though it's been a while since I've sat in the new recliners, I remember they are very comfy and the rocking mechanism is a glider versus a regular rocker. Of course they recline in too. I’m glad you were happy and hope you can come back. Thank you for your idea about hooks. We tried a bathroom hook earlier. We will take your suggestions into consideration. "Wonderful place to stay! We stayed here with our triplet 19 year olds and a 17 year old friend for two nights and wish wish it had been a longer stay so we could have enjoyed both the condo and Branson more. We have traveled to Branson/Silver dollar city for almost 30 years and this was our first stay in a condo. No comparison to camping or staying in a hotel! The privacy of having 2 bedrooms/ bathrooms was very nice, especially as our children have become adults. We enjoyed having a dining room too although we only used it once to eat take-out food together late one night. Recliners were extremely comfortable and one of our boys may have slept there one night instead of the sleeper sofa bed. I didn't hear any complaints about the sleeper sofa bed-but didn't ask. This is where we want to stay next time we return to the area. This condo was well built, furnished, taken care of, and exceptionally clean. All of these things are important to us. We loved the screened-in balcony. The condo was in "like new condition" although I think it was built in 1992/3. Although we planned to cook breakfasts, we didn't end up cooking at all; but the kitchen was exceptionally clean and appeared to be well furnished for cooking. The kids were looking forward to the hot tub but it closed at 10:00 PM and we were never back in time. Pools were closed since it was mid October. Location was good because you did not have to go through the Branson traffic to get to Silver Dollar City and could easily get to bypass roads to get into Branson. It was a very quiet area. "We have had the pleasure of visiting Branson on several occasions. This time, we decided to look into a vacation home rental rather than motel rooms to save on having to eat in restaurants every day. We were honestly a little bit skeptical about renting someone's home - something we have never done before. Our concerns were quickly put to rest the moment we walked through the door. I can only describe our first impression as an experience similar to walking into a brand new home for the first time, ready for us to "move in." It didn't take us long to feel like we were right at home in the comfortable recliners, although most of our time was spent on the screened-in deck overlooking the beautiful courtyard out back. We had many quality family conversations on that deck! Everything that would make a stay there complete was taken into consideration, as well as a few amenities one would not normally consider, such as movies (just in case you can't find anything on the cable TV to watch), games, magazines, etc. But of course, nothing beats just relaxing on that deck! Both bedrooms were simply immaculate, complete with comfortable king beds and ceiling fans (a combination you never find in a motel room!). Something that really impressed us was how even the "guest" bedroom had direct access to a bathroom. The location is far enough away from "the strip" so you don't have to deal with the hustle & bustle of the show traffic, yet is easily accessible. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where everyone is friendly. If you are considering a trip to Branson soon, let me recommend this: While the area offers a lot of great entertainment and attractions, consider a visit that focuses on enjoying and appreciating the beauty of the Missouri Ozarks. "The condo has a light and airy feel, with good use of floor space and design. We enjoyed having a "home" to come back to after an activity and not just a room with two beds and a bathroom. The pool being right behind the condo was also great. We could view the pool from the screened in sunroom, which also had a ceiling fan, light, and furniture. we spent time each day at the pool and the location was very convenient. I really didn't think I would enjoy having a washer and dryer, but when I thought I could do a few loads there and not have so much to do when I got home, it made it quite a wonderful benefit.
